Among NCHEA’s key goals are fostering collaboration among college and university educators and improving communication among staff and students at the three institutions to ensure seamless transfer from lower to upper-division programs. To this end, NCHEA offers a number of avenues to encourage and support collaboration.

Please note none of these grants will cover alcohol

Conversations WITH 
Colleagues Grants

  • ​NCHEA has earmarked funds for tri-campus meetings.
  • At least 1 week prior to meeting please submit the form below to get approval, this is to make sure there are enough funds available
  • You can be reimbursed for up to $15 per person plus gratuity and taxes.  Reimbursable expenses include food, beverages (no alcohol), service gratuity (up to 18%), and parking.

NCHEA Collaboration 
GRANTS

  • Awards grant up to $3,000.00.
  • Grants will only be approved if developed and implemented as a collaboration between the three colleges.  
  • Collaboration grants are due twice each year:  November 1st and April 1st.  NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19, FOR 2020 THE APRIL 1ST GRANT DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO AUGUST 27TH!
    • Grants approval is conducted at the November and April NCHEA board meetings
  • Approved grants have one full academic year to be completed, example: Grants approved in November 2018 need to be completed by the end of Fall 2019.
